Our Commitment To Privacy

Love It Light  is firmly committed to preserving your privacy. We take every precaution  to ensure that your information is protected.  The customer information requested is required to complete the purchase, to keep you formed on the  status of the order, and to ship you the product.  We will not disclose customer information to any other parties except those directly needed for completing the transaction.  Only if the customer indicates that they wish to receive promotional and sales will we send you sales literature.

 

Security Server

All customer transactions are done using Secure Sockets Layers (SSL), which encrypted the transaction.  The customer has to use security enabled browser (Internet Explorer version 3 or greater, or Netscape Navigator version 2 or greater) with SSL option enabled  to ensure the information is encrypted.

 

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by the web site.  Cookies are necessary for the proper operation of the shipping cart system.  We do not use cookies to examine your surfing behavior out side of our web site.

 

Email

We use email to keep in contact with our customers.  We will send you email under the following conditions.

  1. Request a quote.  We will respond to your quote within 48 hours.
  2. Place an order.  When you have completed the order and clicked on the button to place the order,  your credit card information will be validated.  A hold for the amount of the order will placed on the credit card and an email will be sent to you notifying you that we have received the order. 
  3. After the order is shipped.  We will charge the amount of the order on the credit card and send you an email with the shipping information. 
  4. If there are any problems that will prevent the completion or delay of the order. 
  5. If the customer requests additional information.

Cancellation Policy

With stock items under $5000 or where a down payment is not required, the customer can cancel the order for a full refund up until the time the order is shipped.   Non-stock items will have a 35% cancellation fee.  For order over $5000 or where down payment is required some restocking charge may be apply.  Once the order has been shipped the customer can no longer cancel the order.  See our return policy.

Return Policy

Order over $ 5000.00, Closeout, and Special orders are final and can not be returned.  The customer can return stock items purchased up to 15 days after receiving the item.  Non-stock items can not be returned.  Fluorescent and Tiffany Lighting has a 30% restocking charge.  All other fixtures have a 15% restocking charge. Customer needs to obtain a return authorization code before they return the item.  To obtain an authorization code send an email to sales@loveitlighting.com.  You will receive a refund for the cost of the item after the item is received and inspected.  Refunds take 30 days to process.  We will not refund any of the shipping related costs. 

 

Back Order Policy

From time to time we can not fill the order and it needs to be back ordered.  We will notify you via email if there is a problem filling your order.  Once the product becomes available we will take it off the back order list and notify you via email.  If there is more than one item we can ship the part of the order that is available.  You can cancel the part of the order that has not been shipped. (see our cancellation policy) 

 

Damaged Item Policy

It is important that you inspect the shipment immediately when receiving it.  Do not sign for the shipment if any of the packages is missing or damaged.  Contact us via email immediately.  We will replace any part that is damaged during shipping provided that you have not signed for it.  We may ask that you return the damaged item for inspection so we can determine how better to pack the item.  Please do not return the item unless we request you to.  If we request that you return the item, place the item in the original box with all the packing material, and write the return authorization code with the mailing address.  We will cover the shipping cost.  We are not responsible for any item after a 15 day period.

 

Fees due to Customer Errors

For any unforeseen fees that are the result of customer error will be charged back to the customer.  These charges include but not limited to returned check fees, credit card charge back fees, invalid shipping account fees, … etc.
